OUR PILLARS: Sports and Talents Pillar

Merishaw School is intentional about developing the sporting and talent capabilities of our boys. This entails creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students can explore and excel in their areas of interest.

Below are the practical ways we intend to see this key pillar come alive:
Offer Diverse Sports and Activities
We provide a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities to cater to various interests. The school will offer the following traditional sports
Lawn Tennis
Indoor Games (Badminton and Table Tennis)
Board Games (Scrabble and Chess)

Besides the above traditional games, the school will also offer blue games;

Engage Qualified Coaches and Instructors
The school has experienced coaches and instructors who guide students in their chosen sports or talents. Having knowledgeable mentors is our approach to significantly impacting skill development and motivation.

Encourage Participation
We promote a culture of participation by encouraging all boys to explore different sports and activities. It is a requirement of the school that every boy must select at least one co-curricular and extra-curricular activity. This will help students discover their interests and passions.

The school has programs that give our students international exposure. It is our priority as a futuristic school to give boys the opportunity to compete and leave an indelible mark on the world stage.

Supportive Environment
We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable pursuing their interests. As a school, we encourage teamwork, collaboration, and respect among students with different talents and abilities.

Collaborate with Clubs and Organizations
Merishaw School partners with sports clubs or other organizations to provide students with additional opportunities for training and exposure to their chosen fields.
